All full-time and part-time students and apprentices enrolled at Mount Isa Institute of TAFE can borrow from the library.

Library services

The Mount Isa Institute of TAFE library has in its collection:

• books, magazines, videos and dvds, and newspapers covering all teaching areas at Mount Isa Institute of TAFE 
• a small recreational collection of fiction books, compact discs and entertainment videos. Recreational videos must be borrowed and viewed at home due to copyright restrictions 
• electronic information - online databases; CD-ROM databases; Internet; and useful websites. 
• audio visual viewing facilities. Some videos are not available for student loan, however these can be viewed in the library 
• a card operated photocopier
• internet terminals can be booked on an hourly basis at the loans desk. Bookings can be made a day ahead. Restrictions apply. Please read the internet rules when booking
• if you have internet access you can search the library catalogue from your office or desktop.
