Training solutions

Mount Isa Institute of TAFE can offer you a needs analysis to identify your real training needs, legislative and compliance issues and staff skills gaps - including Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

RPL is the process that recognises skills and experience you currently have regardless of where and when the learning occurred.  RPL can include non-accredited courses, schooling, formal or informal training and education, work experience or general life-experience.

We can also offer you specific Nationally Recognised Training to address key issues without the need to meet full qualifications. These courses may be eligible for some government funding.

We can offer tailored training solutions to businesses that require skill sets for their staff that are not National outcomes but are more sharply focused on the needs of the business. Examples of this may be time management, supervisory skills or first point of contact (customer service).

We can develop induction training courses or compliance training specific to your needs. This can take the form of an induction booklet, managed training course or a combination of both.

Mount Isa Institute of TAFE offers employers
