Mount Isa Institute of TAFE employs over 80 full and part time educational, administrative and support staff as well as a number of casual staff.
Whilst the main campus of the Institute is situated in Mount Isa, there are service centres located at Normanton (Lower Gulf) and Cloncurry.
Mount Isa Institute of TAFE is a division of the Queensland Department of Education and Training and employs staff under Queensland Public Service conditions and agreements. Educational staff are employed under the TAFE Teachers' Award - State.
